XKat accepts command line arguments. As a result you can call the program from within your own application to run any existing backup or file synchronization job or task. XKat will launch and run the job or task automatically and then close when it is finished.

Syntax
XKat.Exe Job Name[,Task Name]

Arguments
Job Name

Required. Must be a valid XKat job. XKat will run this job.
Task Name
Optional. Must be preceded with a comma. No space between the job name, comma, and task name. The task must reside in the job that's passed in with it. XKat will run just this task.
