Can I use XKat with a Dial Up Account?

Yes, in a fashion. But before using XKat to copy or sync files with an Internet Server, dial up users must first establish a connection to the Internet. That is, you must do whatever it is you do to connect before surfing the Internet or checking your email. Once you have established an Internet connection, launch XKat and run your tasks and jobs or connect to your Internet server with the FTP-Explorer client.

Because you must first "manually" establish a connection, you will not be able to run scheduled jobs and tasks that involve an Internet connection.

Note: XKat Internet functions are only available with the +Internet edition.
