| A good rule of thumb to follow is to back up (make copies of) files of importance. If you have financial, legal, or genealogical files on your PC -- anything that you would rather not be without -- then create extra copies through regular backups. With XKat this is easy. You can also use XKat to copy files to a diskette or a portable drive, such as a thumb drive.
Most Internet Service Providers provide account holders with disk space on their servers as well as Web and email access.
